 The Board of Directors

The Board of Directors  consists of between 9 and 27 experienced RFID industry professionals. Each Director serves a 3 year term with staggered terms to provide continuity within the Board.

The President. Chair, Vice Chair, Secretary and Treasurer are Directors elected by the Board to these positions and they serves a 1 year term. All Directors and Officers currently serve on a completely voluntary uncompensated basis.

The Board's function is to be solely responsible and accountable for strategic planning and the establishment of policy with respect to activities of the Institute and is accountable to its members in doing so.

In governing the Institute the Board must follow the rules and guidelines set out in the RFID Professional Institute Bylaws.
