Preparing For Your Certification Exam

The RFID Professional Institute exams are designed to test your knowledge of a wide range of RFID related subjects. You are strongly advised to make sure that you have prepared well by gaining the knowledge set out in each exams Guide & Curriculum.

These exams are not easy, and you are unlikely to pass without extensive study, experience or training

Preparation Resources

We have listed a number of training companies that offer courses, in the Resources section of this website. We do not endorse, nor have we vetted, any of these companies. We have also listed a number of books, online training courses, websites and other resources that might assist you in preparing for the exam. We encourage you to evaluate these resources carefully. Take an Exam Online

Both exams can now be taken remotely online. You must first register to take an exam and indicate which exam you would like to take.

You will then be asked to pay for the exam you have selected.

Note that the payment screens are controlled by our payments processor and we cannot see any of your payment details such as card number, expiry date or CVC

Take an Exam in Person

It may also be possible to take an exam in person. From time to time we hold examinations at major RFID events.

After the Exam

We are notified automatically of your exam score once you have completed the exam.

Scores above the nominal pass mark will result in you receiving from us a Pass notification and Certificate.

Borderline scores are assessed by the Examination Committee and then marked as Pass or Fail

If you have failed the exam you will receive notification from us to that effect. You are also encouraged to retake the exam again after a period of further study, There is no limit to the number of times you may take the exam
